Born in Chios and studied at the school of Fine Arts in Athens painting and printmaking. In 1995 under Erasmus program, he went to Edinburgh college of Art and in the year 2000 he was awarded a master degree in Visual Communication from Kent University (Kent Institute of Art & Design). He has made 17 solo shows and participated in various group shows locally and internationally. He was chosen to participate in Biennale of Sarajevo, Tel-Aviv, Prague, Athens and Istanbul. He founded with other artists the non-profit platform Lo & Behold which was active for a decade till about 2018.
From 2002 to 2018 he teaches at University of West Attica and in 2012 – 13 he was invited to teach as visiting professor in Konkuk University Korea. Since 2022 he holds a position of assistant professor at School of Fine Arts, department of Fine Arts and Art sciences, at University of Ioannina.

He lives and works in Athens and Ioannina, Greece. A number of artworks belong to National Gallery Athens, Momus Thessaloniki, private collections and Public Galleries. Art installations can be viewed at hotel 21, Periscope and Intercontinental in Athens.
